OP- Lamp is an optical game with light and space. It was created by using waste from plants dealing with laser cutting of plywood. In these factories 'notorious' wastes left after cutting out repetitive designs are wasted. Talking with the owners of such points, we learned that most often this waste is thrown away or worse burned. However, employees are aware that the so-called "waste" is a great waste and they are interested in reusing it. The project aimed to maximize the use of these unintended aesthetic effects. An intriguing spatial form that catches the eye of the viewer and hypnotizes. The lamp builds an interior climate and generates fascinating games of light and shade.
Collaboration with Natalia Gajo
Project won a distinction in the Sustainable Lamp competition organized by the Polish Association of the Lighting Industry and was presented at the exhibition during the International Light Fair in 2020.
