brief. During my time at NoDesign.net, I had the great opportunity to design and prototype the connected musical lamp called "Houat by Puzzle Lab" with the help of a marvellous team. Houat is a portable and interactive LED lamp made of an interchangeable RGB diffuser housed in a high quality polished stainless-steel structure.  Houat is based on an original technology that allows a living set of colourful and poetic lighting, including the option to vary the atmosphere according to music. Connect Houat to a music source and your house will shine with music. Thanks to a patented technology developed by Puzzle Lab, Houat will change its color and brightness according to the music frequency and intensity.

Through the creation of a bold and outstanding design, we do not only help the brand awareness of "Houat by Puzzle Lab" in terms of recognition among customers and potential customers, we help also the technology to express its full potential. Furthermore,

Houat's design plays a critical role by serving both the patented technology and the customer to deliver an unique and poetic experience.

Houat lamp comes with an original and exclusive system made up of several 3D-printed pieces designed to allows anyone to carve and play with the electric cable according to their imagination and their interior layout.

The design of the lampshade was imaginated to be suitable for different uses and settings from the mood lamp and standing lamp to the hanging lamp. Last but not least, Houat's design blades create a shadow play which is both poetic, evanescent and in color. The user is surrounded by an unique sensory play that let him/her escape from hustle and bustle of everyday life.
