The Acoustic Sessions is a project born from work I did for Trent TV, whom the following videos were filmed for. I initially started off as just another camera man, but it wasn't long until I was allowed to orchestrate my own session. I did away with the broadcast cameras and brought in the D-SLRS and in my opinion, transformed the videos and their quality for the better. After going through this experience I can only conclude that I want to continue this project. The freedom and reward of setting up a controlled environment and filming the talent that the Trent music degree has to offer, is something I know I will soon revisit. Evidently these were all filmed back to back in the same location. The dark environment allowed me to really experiment with the lighting. Unfortunately equipment was scarce and we were forced to make use of bedside lamps to light the subject. Considering what I had to work with, I'm pleased with the turnout.
