Problem
Following the company brand guidelines of both the BBC and Herald, incorporate both styles to design the packaging for a promotional, three-part DVD series available with the purchase of the weekend Heralds. Promotion of the offer is via newspaper advertising.

Solution
Using the BBC's brand colour of black as the predominant colour across all three DVDs, I incorporated the brand colours of the Heralds by the use of strip colours at the top of DVD envelope sleeves. While the DVDs colour palette was more BBC focused, for the newspaper advertising, I concentrated on the individual Herald paper colours and made the wildlife the hero of the ads. The result was an extremely successful and popular promotion.
