YorkU Hacks 2018
Initial Branding
YorkU Hacks is a large scale hackathon held in York University. During the initial phase of the event organization, much of the brand design was yet to be established. This is the first iteration of the branding of the event.
Logo Designs:
This is the variations of the initial logo design of YorkU Hacks.
As the mascot of York University is a lion, and the theme color is red, we wanted to represent our school with the elements of lion and red.
This is the logo design chosen for the first stage of branding.
The hexagon motif is chosen for its representation in technology, while the lines are reminiscent of a circuit board.
Marketing:
This is a poster made for the promotion of the event.
The four icons at the bottom represents idea, coding, time, and sharing.
This is a banner made for social media pages.
