I wanted for this piece to represent a simple yet detailed tattoo-styled idea. I eliminated any shadow to further depict a sketch-like, and raw composition.

I aimed to strive for smooth form in the piece, by letting the line develop its shape rather than enforce accuracy, seen in the foliage and the fur of the body.

I wanted a relaxed tone to the piece, further demonstrated by the angelic symbol and theme of fantasy, shown in the chain tail and triangular ripples of the water, contrasted with natural ripples. Ultimately I aimed to depict a simple and unique tattoo styled piece.
