This photo essay details the life of my grandmother as she slowly began to regress into dementia and Alzheimer's. The "pictures" were taken on a scanner bed, which allowed me to glitch the images, making them progressively more abstract. The abstractions represent my grandmother's memory. As she gets older the pictures become more abstract, symbolizing her descent.
