Mamedipally Village is in the outskirts of Hyderabad. The people of the village are very friendly, welcoming and this i seen through the conversations with them. Some village folks are also kind enough to extend an invitation to home-Cooked meal, even to an outsider. One particular family that I had the opportunity to interact with Sailu Kumari  was a potter's. Sailu is the only potter in Mamedipally village. He has been involved in the art since his childhood and has learned the tricks of this trade from his father and grandfather  since a young  age of 16. Pottery is the main source of livelihood for Sailu and his family.
