e-Democracy - Participatory budgeting application

Process

e-Democracy application goal is to motivate people to participate in budget decision-making process. To make this possible, we set the goal, to design an easiest access to projects. First we created personas and scenarios. Based on that, we defined user stories. This helped us to understand our clients, what they think and how act. After that we defined the information architecture and started working on paper prototype. We chose material design and stuck to it's guidelines. It saved us a lot of time and we were able to make three iterations. We used the photos of latest version of prototype to create clickable web-based prototype, that we tested with real people from our target users. Below you can see the paper prototype, user flow map and detailed description of available actions.
Creating a project

Everyone wants to live in a better world. When facing a problem, we start thinking how to solve it, or how to improve what is currently done. However, the majority of ideas are forgotten, as soon as we are not involved. This inspired us to design a fast and easy way, to write down your idea and make it public. Whether it's a bad condition of the road on your way to work, or need in more benches in the park, we want to hear your ideas.
