Ector Hoogstad Architects
Architecture is of immense value to our quality of life. We feel happier, work more effectively and get on better with other people inside appealing and inspiring buildings. With over 50 years of experience, and a wide variety of design projects to their name, Ector Hoogstad Architects asked us to help them redefine and express their identity.
Working closely together with Ector Hoogstad’s executives, we found that over the last few years their role has changed profoundly. The well-known Rotterdam-based multidisciplinary architecture firm still creates powerful architectural designs, that are attractive, functional and fit for purpose, with an accent on the human element. But what dramatically changed their design approach, is the fact that our society has entered the era of the knowledge economy. In the 21st century, knowledge capital makes all the difference. Working and learning have become all about collaboration, innovation and value creation, and Ector Hoogstad designs buildings around these concepts.
We took this specific strategic focus on knowledge-intensive organizations as the main core value for the company’s identity, and translated it into an exciting content program. We organized various expert sessions and client events. We interviewed successful scientists, e.g. Nobel Prize Winner Ben Feringa, and created a very distinctive representation of Ector Hoogstad Architects’ vision and portfolio. With this collaborative approach we bring the perspective for the next generation of working and learning environments into practice.
