《An Essay On Typography》Book design
The book is a classic design book written by Eric Gill which contains different thesis about the history of typographic art and publications. This project aims at redesign the layout and the book cover for the book, the create a more interactive and interesting layout and feelings that give a fresh feeling for the classic work.
The idea of the layout is playing with different elements in publications like typeface, font size, colours, kerning, columns...which every page have a different layout but still feel the same. The book cover is with a clear book jacket that i inserted the alphabets inside to stimulate the formation of words is consists of those 24 alphabets. The alphabets inside can move around that stimulate different combinations of words and the art of typography.
