The concept of a lighting that miicon believes, may can be defined as “make it to minimizing exposure of a lamp

but, at the same time to lighting enough to where user wants.”

The first concrete pendant light of Miicon, "Broody" was born to show that concept. Broody is a concrete pendant light which resembles appearance of incubating light softly as chicken does for her eggs. The lamp lights gently on the bottom of pendant without glaring as it is inside lampshade. Its feature made as curved surface like form of smooth light distribution

and it is designed the inner-end light of pendant can be rotated gently. It has 6.5mm thickness and was minimized weight and strengthened intensity and tension of concrete. So, it keeps its slim body but not breakable. And also it is beautiful even when it is not turned on. Broody consists of a handmade socket cover made by well-dried wile cherry blossoms and a high-strength concrete lampshade with its calm and softly curved surface. Because, its texture of soft-shaped concrete and tree spreads to space smoothly. It can be stable morphologically when other lights are placed with it. So, it won't give any visual confusion.
