This is a project to advertise Valentine's Day gift opportunities at the Custom t-shirt shop that I manage. It's always a big challenge to convey to people that we can create custom designs fro them and prints them on t-shirts as well as other items. With a name like Make A Tee's, the most common question we get is "do you make t-shirts here?" As an amateur marketing designer with graphic designer skills it has been a big journey to try to understand what people will read (which is nothing) and what people will see (big, bright, sexy or happy images) and what people will perceive (red and white means SALE).
I love getting feedback and will appreciate any feedback. More additions to this project will come as I develop a whole series of store signs and printed media. Mostly these designs are done in Adobe Illustrator CS5 but dimensional paint is created in Photoshop of course. I'm using free stock vector graphics and my own typography.
Developing a logo for valentine's day promos, I think I found a logotype I will use for more store print media because my goal in managing this shop is to convey the idea that people can order their cake and wear it too.
24x36 Poster for front of the store. Draft 1. Does this say what people should do here? Perhaps the next step is to clarify that customers should buy custom designed shirts.

I'm designing within two aesthetics. One style is colorful, energetic, athletic, and vibrant. Another is minimal, typographic, and high-end. Can't make up my mind which vision to pursue and figure out my target customer.
