In April 2008 Street Corner re-launched as Megaphone, a new and improved street paper for Vancouver with more color, more pages, more original content and refined design, ready to attract more vendors, more buyers and more sponsors.
The challenge as art director and designer for Megaphone was to make something that would be a natural continuation of Street Corner, a paper that some of our vendors have been selling for over ten years, and at the same time feel like a new and fresh start. My goal for making a street paper has always been to put out a product that people would want to buy because of it's high quality content and design and not solely because of its charitable benefits.
The re-design also included a full identity package; logo, name plate, business cards, vendor id cards, letter head and more.
