The Outspoken Female Power

The Outspoken Female Power
My piece of Artwork is a sculpture of female figure. This sculpture acquires its beauty by how well it fits what everyone think to have been the intention of my work. I didn't aim to reach the highest degree of perfection or beauty. However, I believe that some abstraction along with some degree of beauty gives the sculpture more pleasure than perfect realistic beauty. This sculpture is inspired by Sherine's Neshat Video installation "The Turbulent". It's about the unspoken female power. I intended to abstract the face and the hands to add a philosophical dimension to the sculpture; my aim is to see the perspective from which people see her;  is she a broken woman who is about to collapse or is she standing fiercely in a steady position, aggravated and ready to attack you at any time.
