I worked on designing a logo for Saudi Motor Sport (SMC), the umbrella organization responsible for hosting and promoting all motorsport events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This project also included sub-brands Jeddah Corniche Circuit and Jeddah Corniche Circuit Experience. To create a unified brand identity, the central element in each logo is a helmet—a universal motif in motorsports. Elements within the helmetl icon change based on the specific sub-brand, providing flexibility while maintaining brand cohesiveness. The main SMC logo uses lines to evoke a sense of speed and dynamism, while the sub-brands incorporate unique elements: a curve to signify a specific section of the racing circuit for Jeddah Corniche Circuit, and pixel-like dots for Jeddah Corniche Circuit Experience to represent the digital aspect.
It's worth noting that this design was one of the options presented to the client and
was not the final logo chosen.
