Design of new home page and e-commerce page for gyrmaquinaria.com
Objective: The objective of the project was to implement a new design characterized by a minimalist approach, prioritizing clarity and simplicity. This involved incorporating light visuals, pleasing colors to enhance brightness, concise and clear text, and a straightforward presentation of information.
Specifically, the redesigned section aimed to enhance the overall user experience by embracing minimalism, clarity, and simplicity. This included features such as centered images, balanced proportions, consistent content, pleasing colors, concise text, informative pictures, clear measurements, and a straightforward presentation of product information.
Design Process
Current Home page
The UI of the home page lacked visual appeal and presented information in a disorganized and overwhelming manner. It was characterized by excessive text, a scarcity of images, and poorly proportioned elements.
Proposal of the UI for the Home page
The new design adopts a minimalist approach, aiming for clarity and simplicity. It incorporates light visuals, pleasing colors that enhance brightness, concise and clear text, and straightforward presentation of information.
Current UI of the e-commerce
The current e-commerce section suffers from several usability issues, including absent images, distracting backgrounds, and unevenly arranged elements.
