This is a thistle gone to seed. I know that the beautiful pink flower that we usually associate with the thistle is amazing. However, I found more color, diverse patterns, and nature's graceful way of changing from one stage to another.
I still have to find the name of these flowers, but when I saw them against the white fence, for me, it became a message and a piece of art. It's a little thing just some flowers on someone's fence. But it spoke volumes to me.
I was walking with my dog one day down a quiet neighborhood in San Antonio, TX. Even though one would think that the main focus would be the beautiful golf course across the street. My eyes were pulled to the berries on this bush (I still have to find out what it is). It was strange but my eyes refused to leave. I stood there looking up at a blue sky, some green leaves and these orange berries. It was another reminder to me that I must mindfully live in the oresent. It is only then that I can see the diversity and wonder of the little things.
This is one of the many sunsets that I have taken throughout the years. What I have noticed is that no matter where you are, when you look up you there is a sea of color constantly changing that makes each second different from the previous one. These are the things that make me smile.
