This illustration was inspired by the designs of the medieval as well as the celtic culture.
http://www.pinterest.com/pin/106186503684645523/ . I was insired by this celtic wedding dress as i just love the style of it. It has a lovely dropped waist as well as off the shoulder straps. I love this simple but effective garment.
http://www.trendhunter.com/slideshow/medieval-fashion-styles . I was inspired by this modern take of medieval fashion as it had a high neckline and it was quite long.

My own swan pattern inspired by celtic heritage as well as the story on The Children of Lir.
I started off by getting the rubber tooll and clearing out any lines not needed.
I got the line tool and drew the basic shape of my chosen outfits. I then got the rubber tool again and rubbed the white out inthe inside of the garment designs.
I then got my line tool and started drawing on a feather inspired pleated skirt to the right.
I selected the wand tool and thenthe paint tool to colour the skintone in.
I added an image layer were i added the pattern in.
I got the line tool and started drawing the shoes. I then selected the wand tool and rubbed out the skintone so as i could get the pattern coming through.
I started doing some touchups and going over outer lines.
Finally i selected the burn and dodge tools to add tone and sading to these illustrations.
Final Outcome
I really enjoyed doing this collection. It help me paractice my shading and toning as well visually see how shapes might and might not work. The outcome was a success and i decided to not add abackground as i thought it would take away from the two girls garments. I rwally enjoyed using the line tool as it gives you a great equal outline.
