Banarasi matla Kulfi
Banaras and Varanasi are two names for the same city in northern India and Banarasi matka kulfi is a type of kulfi that is made in the city of Varanasi. Matka means earthen pot and Banarashi matka kulfi is prepared in small earthen pots, giving it a distinct flavor and texture.
Kulfi is a popular frozen dairy dessert that originated in India. It is made by boiling milk until it reduces in volume and thickens, then sweetening it with sugar and flavoring it with cardamom, saffron, pistachios, almonds, or other ingredients. The mixture is then poured into molds and frozen until it sets.
