Before creating this artwork, there was a major earthquake in Kumamoto. There were many sad and dark moments, and I often felt down. During those times, I found solace in watching videos of cute animals, and I was moved by the healing power of cuteness. Cute creations have a gentle power that can soothe and heal our hearts. I believe this is a unique strength that large-scale artworks cannot offer.

Although an artwork itself cannot be a tool to solve problems, I think it can quietly support and watch over you as you face your challenges.
