Sanjhi Painting commonly known as the art of cutting paper is a tradition of art that originated out of the cult of Krishna and flourished in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is in Vraja, or Vrindavan, the homeland of Lord Krishna.

By using this art form I tried to depict the birth scene of Lord Krishna in the Kathghara of his  maternal uncle Kansh.
