All the King’s Tapestries exhibition

All the king's tapestries. Returns 2021–1961–1921

The presentation of Zygmunt August's tapestries in the Wawel chambers is the only show of the entire collection in the interiors for which they were woven. The background for the presentation of tapestries is, on the one hand, original, historic rooms, and on the other, visually light openwork structures with a transparent fabric that extinguishes the background without completely suppressing it.
The original colors of the tapestries were the inspiration for the colors of the exhibition. The first part of the exhibition is dominated by white, supplemented with saturated colors on which the tapestries are presented.
The second one uses deep, dark, forest green, which fits perfectly into the original interiors. This color also distinguishes elements - etalages, signatures, seats that belong to this exhibition.
