After staying in Padova for a night, the next morning we took a train to Milan for a couple of days. I found this city big and bustling and perhaps not as charming as some of the smaller cities, but I enjoyed exploring it just the same! It would have been nice to have a native show us around the city because it was so big, but we didn't really have that luxury. The only thing we really found to do in Milan was shop. We also went to a science museum and the Castello. Unfortunately it started to rain pretty hard that day and we had to stash our cameras and find shelter. Something random I liked about Milan, even though it was big, the subway system made it really easy and quick to get around.
