Popcorn is a modular lampshade design made from paper based materials. It is the Final Project of ID101 Basic Design I course at METU.

Lampshade consists of four identical modular pieces made from PVC paper. PVC paper is chosen as the main material of product because of its semi-transparent and heat resistant properties. 

Openings of the lampshade are covered with triangle shaped frosted acetate papers. Thanks to their frosted texture, they let the light but also prevent dazzling.
