A journal is normally descripted as a form of take a note of the thoughts or the events that have passed in the day of a person. But in this piece it is used as a tool to measure the change that a living being have over time. From there comes the first part of the name of this piece, the second part comes because this thing started like a personal experiment to know what measure an albahaca plant achieve to grow in a month, show the movement of its growth and the time as a altering state in a time lapse.  At the end of the film develop process, occur a mistake and damage almost every expositions. 

The following part of the process go as the plan was thought, and I decided that the mistake will not have importance because it became as a interesting thing. A series of chemical patterns sticks to the film in every photo. I scanned and printed the mold of every photo in a transparent material to create the cyanotypes under the light of the sun, later I escanned them and put them together in video to visualize the sequence.   

El diario comúnmente esta descrito como una forma de anotar los pensamientos o los sucesos  que han pasado en el día de una persona. Pero en esta obra se utiliza más bien como una herramienta para medir el cambio que tiene un servivo con el paso del tiempo. De ahí viene la primera parte del nombre de la obra, la segunda parte viene a quedar en el nombre porque esta obra comenzó como un experimento personal para saber qué tanto podría crecer una planta de albahaca en un mes, mostrar el movimiento de su crecimiento y el tiempo como un factor alterador convertido en un time lapse. Al finalizar el proceso de revelado de la película fotográfica, ocurrió un error y estropeó casi todas las exposiciones. 

La siguiente parte del proceso continuó su curso y decidí que ese error que había cometido no importaría porque terminó siendo algo interesante, una serie de patrones de quimico se quedaron en cada exposición. Los escaneé e imprimí la matriz de cada foto en acetato para así poder crear los cianotipos realizados al sol, después escaneé los cianotipos y los junté en un editor de video para así crear el pequeño video en dónde se muestra la secuencia.
