XI edizione Premio Nostalgia del Futuro - sezione Design per l'Informazione Giornalistica

The project consists of three different parts; the first is sociological research on the #metoo movement and about how it has been interpreted, lived, transformed and sometimes manipulated. The second one is a cross-media translation: an illustrated video to objectively explain the movement in 5 minutes. The third and final one is trans-media translation that created the opportunity to integrate the narrative through the realization of a short illustrated story.

(Trans-media translation project is the one reported here)

The project consists in a few illustrated pages that want to extremize one of the issues that emerged during the phase of research and analysis: trivialization. Although it may often seem a taken for granted topic, not that useful to explore and little useful to explore, sometimes trivialization is difficult to recognize because it's fishy: this brings with it dangerous consequences, in this case from a cultural point of view.
What happens if a sensitive issue like harassment at work finds space for in-depth study in a cultural environment that makes simplification its raison d'etre? But, at the same time, what would have happened if the famous hastag hadn't been launched? Would it have had the same resonance? What was in short, the price that the movement had to pay so that could it achieve the visibility it got?
