Personal Expression
We had to write an essay based on inequality and discrimination on a group of people or a problem that is turned away by majorities. My topic was about ADHD, so this was my personal expression about what I did. My medium was collaging different types of cut outs into one to represent the different types of people who have ADHD. I asked one of my friend who has ADHD and she always said to me people call her a freak, because she has a loud personality and would not sit still during her lectures. She hides her disability because she does not want people to make fun of it or see her less of a person. It breaks my heart how many out there have to put away her mental health just to have acceptance and I want people to know that it is not okay to judge someone just because they are different, that does not make them any different from us. Some are born special and they deserve to be treated like anyone who wants to be treated nicely and fairly.
