The Dal Negro brand, renowned for producing high-quality playing cards, represents Italian excellence in the gaming sector. Founded in 1756, the company distinguishes itself through its craftsmanship and tradition, offering distinctive products that combine quality and refined design.
Brief
Dal Negro chooses to celebrate its focal position in the design of playing cards and board games by creating a futuristic-inspired special edition, capturing its values of dynamism and avant-garde to bring forth an eclectic collection.
Solution
The collection consists of 3 creative outputs: the first being the "carte parolibere" playing cards, inspired by Marinetti's Futurism manifesto. Following that, the "scacchi futuristi" chess set was inspired by the typical decomposition of Depero's style, both in the illustrations and in the design of the chessboard. The box closes the collection, illustrated in the style of Gino Severini.
